Tabankor Excursions, Inc., was founded and is owned by Emmanuel Roux & Jennifer Hardin.
The company offers exclusive and personalized tours to France. The trips are designed to visit out of the way places where you will experience French culture, its history, and its people.
Emmanuel Roux personally leads only a few tours a year, and they are always limited to under 20 guests.
The hotels selected are intimate establishments, and in most cases they are formerly stately private residences that add to the unique character of the trip. Itineraries are diverse and also designed to create opportunities to meet local people and interact with them in order to better understand and experience French life style.
Emmanuel Roux has lived in North Africa, England, Switzerland, West Africa, Scandinavia, Japan, Northern Provence, and Toulouse. He has traveled extensively, from the Sahara to the South Pacific from Timbuctu to Tahiti. He studied hotel and restaurant management in Glion, Switzerland, and has lived in the United States for over 30 years. He owns two restaurants in St. Petersburg, Florida, and he also founded and owned the first specialty pasta company in the United States. His interest lies not only in French culture, wine, and the culinary arts, but also the visual arts, being married to Jennifer Hardin, Chief Curator at the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg. She holds a PHD in art history from Princeton University and is also an avid Francophile.
Emmanuel enjoys sharing his native culture and will insure that your stay in France will be as pleasant and instructive as you hope it to be. |
